G350 Engine Re-map

Good day everyone.
Has any body ever re-mapped their G 350 and if so what are their thoughts and experiences and would you recommend doing it?
I'm looking at purchasing a 2016 G 350 which still has the 155Kw motor. Is this suitable for a remap and what are the performance and fuel consumption figures after a re-map?

I won't recommend remapping, when mapping they usually increase the fuel and boost, this requires the turbo to work harder and under higher EGT's, the 155kw's turbo is not water cooled like the higher kw engines and relies on the oil for lubrication as well as cooling.

I had a turbo shaft fail (spat the shaft and turbine wheel into the exhaust) causing the engine to pump all the oil into the exhaust and running nr. 1 main bearing, that stuffed up the block and MBSA doesn't supply om642 blocks.

It was a very expensive exercise.
