Air Elements on G461

It seems that Owners of the G461's Will be running into difficulties regarding AIr Filter replacement Elements[especially when doing a lot of off road]. M-B has limited stock,local dealer 7 days delivery at R860.92 . Previously sourced from Goldwagen, they no longer stock the range. Available overseas at varying prices but with shipment and import duty probably M-B price. The problem is not only the cost.Due to the volume of these vehicles in the country will even make M-B reluctant to carry sufficient stock, especially when they age 20Y +. Is there any person on the forum with a contact to Incomex who are the suppliers of the MANN Filter range? This brand was stocked by Goldwagen previously. I stand to be corrected but one of our members,Andre , spoke about importing spares for the G's . Any suggestions on the way forward in securing this item, which is crucial for the G with present set up when travelling rough roads? Example: Dit Luiwa Park in Zambia, 3 days, filter completely blocked.

Why not just import a few from Spareto and keep one or two as spares. They're easy to deal with, fair pricing and quick delivery. Or do a group purchase?

Sure, and there are cheaper suppliers available for the same make, just if you do require to change a maintenance item more often it becomes a schlep. group purchase will be the way to go and import around 30 at a time tks!
