606 issues

Bought a 606 running car 80tho recorded miles good SH ,no signs of blow by at oil cap at all ,dove it back home ,2 hours went great ,check it again all the same .
Removed and fitted new mechanical pump ,intercooler .
Now I've got what looks like blow by out of the oil cap ,breather pipe .
Anyone got any ideas

There should be blow buy out of the breather hose, it's normal. Even more so under load or when towing. Where does the breather hose plug into? Can you send a photo?

Thanks for the reply, yes I know there's always blow by ,it's the fact the were no sign before removal and there's loads ,thought it might be related to the vacuum.
I will load a video and photos.

Where does the blow by pipe vent too now?

From the valve to the turbo as before

Ah ok, then it must be something else. Did you check the valve under the cover. Take it off and blow through it.

None afaik. Ssangyong some models had rear sumps. Not sure it's compatable. Maybe with a oil pump pickup mod. The 320 SY is basically the same block as the 606. The 320 sump I got is front facing pickup.
